The article presents a paper that describes a method to evaluate lost-circulation material (LCM). Topics discussed include use of LCMs for wellbore strengthening applications, an approach to design LCM that withstand higher wellbore pressures within a fracture and plug-breaking pressure (PBP) data on LCMs that provide qualitative comparison of ability of LCM combinations to withstand displacement in wellbore-strengthening applications. |
