| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the medical management of frostbite. Individuals at an increased risk for developing frostbite include diabetics, alcoholics, and people who work in occupations that require prolonged exposure to cold temperatures. The medical classification of frostbite is explained, as is the treatment of the condition. The treatment of frostbite often requires wound debridement and surgery. |
