Abstrakt: The article presents an annotated catalogue of gold, silver, billon, and copper coins minted specifically for French Flanders during the reign of French King Louis XIV. According to the author, the specific coins were minted as a way to eliminate the territory's foreign currency. Topics include French Controller-General of Finances, Claude Le Peletier, the coins minted in the cities of Paris and Amiens, France, the coins depicting the King, and the mint Monnaie de Lille in Lille (France), the former capital of Flanders.
