The article discusses a qualitative research study done to assess the value of advanced directives experience. Topics discussed include the completion by physician assistant (PA) students of an advance directives document as part of a professional practice issues course and the themes that emerged from the qualitative analysis such as significance of thinking on end-of-life issues, emotional response to the task and reactions of family members. |
