Abstrakt:	In this article, the author comments that Torres Strait Islander and aboriginal Australians do not recognize Australia Day. Topics discussed include indigenous people losing their sovereignty due to invasion of the country by British on January 26, 1788, these people not supporting Australia Day as they are fighting for their rights, indigenous people not recognized by the Australian Constitution and the need to end racism in the country.
