Abstrakt: The article presents and analyzes an agreement from April 5, 1351 conserved in the State Archives of Turin, Italy. According to the article, it offers information on the creation and definition of the border between the Provence (France) and Genoa (Italy) in the Nervia Valley during the reign of the French House of Anjou. The author also discusses a pact from 1385 which regulated the passage of livestock from one end of the Valley to the other and was drafted after another conflict erupted between the villages of Castel Vittorio and Pigna, both located in the region of Tenarda.
