The article discusses the findings of a study to investigate the ultrastructure of the female Tetrameres (T) mohtedai nematode. It notes that the T. mohtedai nematode is known to dwell in the proventricular glands of local poultry. Researchers describe the features of the anterior, middle and posterior body parts of T. mohtedai, and mentions the function of its triangular shaped teeth in lacerating the glandular epithelium of the host fowl for blood and tissue feeding. |
