Abstrakt: In the contemporary educational context, school principals and teachers are called to assume more demanding roles and responsibilities. In such a context, questions are raised for the parameters that contribute to the determination of work behavior of principals and teachers at school and the personal characteristics that motivate their behavior. Answers to these questions can be given in multiple ways. This study intends to find out the impact of school size on leadership behavior and organizational climate. The sample of the study is 362 teachers of various private and government schools selected randomly from the Jalandhar division. Two way ANOVA is employed to analyze the data. The main findings of the study are (i) Government school teachers are more burdened by administrative hassles which hinder their teaching work, (ii) Size of the school does not make any impact on the 'consideration' behavior of the principals, (iii) Private school principals take more initiatives to improve their own profile.
