Abstrakt: The article discusses the project Plankton Ecology and Biogeochemistry in a Changing Arctic Ocean (PEBCAO) which aims to investigate the relevance of plankton and microbial processes in the Arctic Ocean. Also discussed are samples which include biogeochemistry and phytoplankton, bacterioplankton, and particulate matter absorption (PAB) and dissolved organic matter (DOM). The preliminary expected results for the study are also discussed.
