Abstrakt: The article discusses isolation of ornithobacterium hinotracheale in chicken and turkey flocks of Central California which causes respiratory infections. Topics include highest rate in infraorbital sinus and trachea trailed by lungs and air sacs, gross lesions such as; air sacs fibrinous exudate, trachea mucus and congested lungs, and histopathologic lesions such as; heterophilic inflammatory cell infiltration in sinus and trachea and inflammation with fibrin accumulation in lungs and air sacs.
