Abstrakt: The authors discuss the structure and function of collaboration between art and science, with an emphasis on practices and experiences of participants in the Art and Anatomy Project. Issues addressed include the tangible benefits perceived by participants, the process of collaboration, and commonalities. The authors believe that collaborations encourage the acknowledgment of central motivations and urges individuals to question the division between professional practice and private passions.
