The article discusses the deployment of an ocean bottom seismometer under sea ice during a feasibility study to operate the Alfred Wegener Institute Lobster open broadcast software instruments. Topics mentioned include the use of an external IXEA Posidonia under water positioning transponder to track the instrument's path, additional packages of syntactic foam used to increase the size of the head buoy, and an illustration of the configuration of the equipment. |
