| Abstrakt: | This article presents a study on distribution and oxidation rates of methane in the water bodies of Samoylov Island and in the Lena River in Russia. It discusses the objectives and methods used in the study, variations in methane concentrations in lakes and streams and the decline in methane oxidation rates toward the river. |
