The article discusses research which investigated the use of electrospun cellulose acetate (CA) nanofibers for bacteria collection. Topics explored include the ability of regenerated cellulose mats to collect Escherichia coli microorganisms, the thermal and alkaline treatment procedures performed to prepare these cellulose mats, and the potential application of said nanofibers in water filtration and disinfection systems. |
