| Abstrakt: |
The article describes a case of hepatocutaneous syndrome in an eight-year-old female dalmatian dog with erosive and ulcerative skin lesions around its mucocutaneous junction, ears and feet and elevated liver enzymes. Microscopy examination results indicated thick parakeratosis, irregular epidermal hyperplasia and pallor and multifocal apoptosis of keratinocytes. Its liver had severe vacuolar hepatopathy with accumulation of lipid and water, while its pancreas showed mild nodular hyperplasia. |
