| Abstrakt: | The article discusses several legal aspects of earthquake-related contracts, torts, and insurance contracts in New Zealand (NZ) in the wake of an earthquake which struck the Christchurch, NZ region on February 22, 2011, focusing on a statute of limitations under the NZ Limitation Act 2010. According to the article, those people who are affected by a September 2010 earthquake may have legal actions arising under the NZ Limitation Act 1950. Legal claims for monetary relief are examined. |
