| Abstrakt: | In this article, the author pays tribute to Roger Errera, a member of the editorial board of the journal by comparing the rule of law and the French law concept of "Etat de droit." Topics discussed include a report published by the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe on the rule of law, the relationship between comparative law and the concept of "Etat de droit" focused on powers of the state and concepts of rule of law within the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. |
