The article discusses the Chemical Reactor Analysis Design (CRAD) Game, created by T.W. Fraser Russell of University of Delaware and Becky Kinney of Moonlight Multimedia, utilizing a technically feasible design (TFD), for introducing chemical engineering (ChE) to high school students and ChE freshmen. Topics discussed include objective of designing a continuous-flow stirred tank reactor (CSTR) for product production, chemical reactor analysis introduction and review, and how the game is played. |
