An essay is presented analyzing the composition "Time Pieces" composed by American composer Robert Muczynski for clarinet and piano in 1983. Topics discussed include the composition displaying harmonic dialogue, examination of basic blocks as combinations of intervals such as transpositional combinations in the composition and diagrams of Muczynski's musical notations in "Time Pieces." |
