| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the war veterans in the U.S. who are also making names in the field of sports. One of these veterans is Barnet Rasofsky who was one of the most famous sporting idols and one of the toughest champions in boxing. Other veterans include Charles P. Bednarik, the 8th-ranked linebacker in pro football history, Robert T. Jones Jr., the most successful amateur golfer ever to compete on a national and international level, as well as golfer Lloyd E. Mangrum. |
