This research paper intends to highlight the true picture of the causes, events and failure of the great war of Independence which changed the conditions of the Muslims in sub-continent and left a challenge for the Muslims to overcome all the problems and to cope with the dominant Hindus and the British Rulers., eventually the war brought internal changes and re-organization of the British Administration. To the British it was a mutiny, for some it was a rebellion but for the Muslims of the sub-continent it was a war for their independence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
