Abstrakt: The article discusses a study on the pathophysiological significance of in vitro and in vivo models of mast cells (MC) and basophils (BAS). It briefly describes the in vitro models of mast cells and basophils of rodents and humans. It mentions some novel in vivo models of MC and BAS emphasizing on a need of improvement for available models. It states the crucial roles of transgenic mouse in studying the MC and BAS which further impacts in human health and treatment of diseases.
