The results of studies on the effect of dexamethasone on oxidative processes in the immunocompetent organs (liver, kidney, and spleen) of sterlet Acipenser ruthenus are presented. The fish respond to the injection of the stress hormone by the activation of lipid peroxidation and a decrease in antioxidant activity. It is shown that the changes in the studied parameters depend on the specificity of the structural and functional organization of organs and the time of sampling after hormone injection.
