The article discusses the influence of online social networking service Tweeter to the nursing community. Topics include the guidelines for nurses when using Tweeter, the benefits it provide to the profession such as lurking or following inspirational people, and the creation of a digital identity, and communities of practice as @WeNurses founded by registered nurse, Teresa Chin. Also discussed are the 6Cs for nurses when using social media which include care, competence, and communication. |
