Abstrakt: | The author comments on divergent opinions within psychiatry regarding mental health treatment. He argues that with open mindedness, advocates can come to a common ground in dealing with the severely mentally ill. He proposes that clinicians in the anti-psychiatry and pro-psychiatry camps can agree to work for the most disadvantaged such as those inappropriately imprisoned the homeless and those people really in need of medication. |
