Abstrakt:	This paper examines the significance of the option agreement, as a new institution introduced in the Civil Code as well as the features of the option agreement related to the sales contract. The settlement of the option agreement in the Civil Code with particularities in the case of sales contract requires the achievement of certain delimitations from other institutions such as the institution of promise to contract or even delimitation from the sales contract.
