Bilateral mandibular pyogranulomatous lymphadenitis and pulmonary nodules in a dog with Bartonella henselae bacteremia.

Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a two year old spayed female collie dog from Montana, who was referred to Washington State University for evaluation of a history of lethargy and inappetence and fever and was diagnosed with Bartonella infections. Topics discussed include computed tomography (CT) showing Bartonella henselae bacteremia and pyogranulomatous lymphadenitis in the dog, lymphoid follicles evident from histology of lymph node treatment of clinical signs with antimicrobial therapy.
