| Abstrakt: | The article discusses a retrospective cohort study which examines the association between mortality and psychiatric disorders among public mental health care (PMHc) clients in Utrecht, Netherlands. Details on the methods of the study and its results are offered. It concludes that psychiatric services may deliver an important contribution to the prevention of premature natural death among homeless persons. |
