| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the policy initiatives of U.S. President Barrack Obama in the Ukraine following the overthrow of President Viktor Yanukovych in February 2014 and annexation of Crimea by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Economic sanctions and political pressure against Russia in addition to Economic Support Fund and USAID assistance are expected to stabilize the new government of Petro Poroshenko while downplaying military cooperation. |
