Abstrakt:	The article presents the author's views on progress in essential oils and offers information on various oils including cinnamon leaf oil, eucalyptus staigeriana Oil and lavandin oil. Cinnamon oil was produced by hydrodistillation in 3.1 percent yield, eucalyptus oil produced from leaves of trees collected in northeastern Brazil and lavandin oil produced in Kelowna from different cultivars.
