Multibody operator matrix elements and subduction coefficients in U(n).

Abstrakt: An approach to decomposing the specialized types of U(n) 3ν-j coefficients which arise in operator matrix element calculations in the Gel’fand basis is presented. Previous work on matrix elements of U(n) generator products will be extended to cases involving three generators and beyond. In addition, the methods of evaluation of SU(m)xSU(n)↓SU(m+n) subduction coefficients will be applied. The techniques are easily formulated in terms of Yutsis graphs.
