Abstrakt: The article presents a study to analyze the magnitude and frequency of concussion injury rates amongst men's and women's collegiate ice hockey players. It mentions that 23 men and 31 women from National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I ice hockey teams participated in the study by wearing helmets instrumented with accelerometers, to allow biomechanical measurement of head injury. It mentions that men, as compared to women , had higher frequencies of head injuries from another players.
