Features of the kinetics of contact melting in a ternary eutectic of Sn-Bi-Pb system with electrotransfer.

Abstrakt: It is shown that the structure of contact layers and the kinetics of contact melting (CM) in the Sn-(Bi+Pb) system depend on the presence and direction of the electric current, along with the composition of the alloys of the two-component systems involved in CM. A property not characteristic of two-component bismuth-containing alloys, is discovered: the inversion of the sign of the effective charge of bismuth Z*, affecting the lengths of the contact layers and the character of the δ = f(τ) dependence.
