The article presents the best practices, which are associated with measuring the presence of biofilm deposits as well as treatment strategies to prevent and control biofilm formation. Biofilm and biofouling cause many problems in cooling water systems. Multiple coupons of each type were placed in the same location to measure reproducibility. |
