| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on the challenges that are needed to be addressed for equipping the Indian Army. Challenges discussed include managing obsolescence by recapitalising aging equipment to preserve equipment, greater demand of the army for Line of Control (LOC)/line of actual control (LAC) management, and constraint in defence budget along with increase in operational requirements. Also mentioned is Rotational Equipping Strategy followed by the U.S. Army. |
