Abstrakt:	The article presents a case study of a six-month old infant presented with a low packed cell volume (PCV) and underwent blood transfusion. The family background of the patient were investigated and revealed that her brother has no history of sickle cell anaemia and is relatively in the high socio-economic status. The article discusses hypothyroidism, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and levothyroxine.
