Abstrakt:	The article discusses research which was conducted to investigate factors which could predict the occurrence of falls in older patients in hospital acute care units. Researchers evaluated 462 patients at a hospital in Angers, France with a brief geriatric assessment tool. They found that the tool was able to predict falls in older hospitalized patients in acute care units.
