The article discusses the successful awake tracheal stenting in sitting position on 40-year-old man using dexmedetomidine and airway block. Topics discussed include the patient suffering with cough, breathing difficulty and inability to lie flat, dyspnea and bilateral rhonchi as diagnosis, balloon dilatation and tracheal stenting as accepted method of palliation for tracheal stenosis. |
