| Abstrakt: |
The article presents the 26-week study which examined the effectiveness and safety of modified-release (MR) prednisone in newly diagnosed cases of giant cell arteritis (GCA) in Great Britain. It also examines the duration of the clinical response of the drug, the steroid-related complications, and the quality of life outcomes. Based on the results, MR prednisone has similar effectiveness with standard immediate release (IR) prednisone. |
