Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 5-year-old girl presented to the hospital with high fever and dyspnea and diagnosed from pulmonary cystic echinococcosis (CE). Topics discussed include blood tests which revealed leukocytosis and increased levels of c-reactive protein (CRP), lung ultrasound (US) which confirm hypoechoic (cystic) lesion, and larvae of the dog tapeworm Echinococcus granulosus which causes pulmonary CE.
