Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the effects of inward rectifier K+ (IKl) channels on ischemic postconditioning-induced protection. Topics include the channel's role in membrane potential modulation and excitability maintenance of cardiomyocytes, the use of Langendorff-perfused rat hearts, and compliance with the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals in the U.S. It also discusses the positive effect of IKl channel agonist zacopride.
