Abstrakt:	Examines the influence of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha on sodium, chloride and potassium transport in human distal colon in vitro. Demonstration that TNF-alpha turned chloride and potassium transport toward secretion and that this effect was mediated by prostaglandin E2.
