The article discusses the transformation of diagnostic radiology among accountable care organizations and specialties in the U.S. Pointed out is the significance for physicians to provide patient-centered care through the improvement of patient segment value in medical condition. Mandate for fundamental change in the financial framework and care delivery of some hospital-based medical specialties like diagnostic radiology is recommended. |
