The article presents the author's views on the efforts of the Materials Research Society (MRS) Foundation to support the materials research and to improve the quality of life. She talks about the foundation's grassroots, member-proposed awards, and student support programs. She also talks about the foundation's efforts to engage University Chapters through MRS OnDemand. She also invites readers to become a member and to volunteer to be a mentor. |
