The article presents a case study of 68-year old man suffering with advanced oropharyngeal cancer admitted for fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) after diagnosed with infection from microbe clostridium difficile. He died on fourth day after FMT due to septic shock. The diagnosis after FMT revealed dislodged gastric-tube, no bowel perforation and massively dilated colon. |
