The article presents information on a study which evaluates the efficacy of antimycotic drug, Fluconazole, in treatment of dermatomycosis in dogs. It refers to the cases of two dogs, presented with severe alopecia, pruritus and scaly skin in a veterinary hospital in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. It says that the dogs were treated with Fluconazole, vitamin injections and topical application of povidone iodine solution. |
