Abstrakt: Eleanor E. Fink has held senior positions at the Smithsonian Institution, J. Paul Getty Trust, and World Bank and now serves as an art and technology consultant. Currently, she is working with the Information Sciences Institute (ISI) at the University of Southern California (USC) and with the EU-funded “Initial Training Network for Digital Cultural Heritage: Projecting our Past to the Future” (ITN-DCH). With ISI, her focus is on Linked Open Data (LOD) as a means of providing seamless access to art information across organizations, museums, libraries, and archives. She initiated and manages the American Art Collaborative, a project to help the museum community better understand LOD and to build a critical mass of LOD art information. With the ITN-DCH project, she serves as an advisor and is exploring partnerships with digital cultural heritage projects. This interview was conducted by phone and through e-mail messaging in March of 2014. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
