| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on a research by Mcmaster University graduate student Karen Cogliati in 2010 determining the sexual behavior and reproduction of different male plainfin midshipman fishes. Findings of the research include low paternity in the fishes, guarding of more than 10 percent of eggs in other males' nests by guarding males which can be related to cuckoldry and high competition for nest sites. |
