The article discusses the role of Russia and the WTO in development of the free trade agreement among nations. Topics discussed include proposal for formation of a Eurasian Union by Russia in order to compete with NAFTA and the European Union, proliferation of the regional trade agreement and Eastern Partnership. It mentions two pending regional treaties such as the Transatlantic Free Trade Agreement between the U.S and the EU, and the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement. |
