The article presents a study of mental state reasoning in terms of folk psychology (FP). Topics discussed include folk psychology as a normative framework, effects of normativism on the study of thinking, use of tasks of social belief in order to examine mentalising and relation of FP and cognitive processes. It also reflects on the meaning of theorising and simulation. |
